Hotel Indigo, Auckland
In a hotel, guests experience the finished space. The team working behind the bar and café experiences every detail of how that space functions. At Hotel Indigo Auckland, both perspectives shaped the fit-out.
Set within the historic Motor House building in Auckland’s Midtown, the hotel pairs heritage character with contemporary interiors. Its bar and café needed equipment that could support busy daily service while fitting naturally into the design.
Refrigeration made for the space
Working with Chroma Group, Southern Hospitality delivered the bar and café fit-out, bringing together a wide range of SKOPE equipment and custom stainless-steel fabrication.
ProSpec was selected for the project, alongside a custom four solid-door ActiveCore cabinet. The tailored refrigeration helped Southern Hospitality make practical use of the available space and accommodate the team’s workflow.
When equipment is planned as part of the fit-out from the beginning, it can do more than meet a specification. Its placement, access, and finish all contribute to how confidently a space operates once service begins.
A considered result
The completed bar and café bring together the character guests see and the working environment staff rely on every day. We’re proud to see SKOPE refrigeration included in a project where design and day-to-day function have been given equal attention.
